How is my Speeble therapist chosen?
Our team carefully reviews your submitted information and a therapist is selected for you based on:
Your information form
We will then send all this information back to you along with your recommended number of sessions per week.
Speeble therapists are registered to practice with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means that we conform to professional clinical standards as determined by the HCPC. A copy of the standards are available to download from HCPC website.
Does an adult need to be present for a child session at all times?
How do I access my sessions?
Once you have purchased your SLT sessions via the website, a Speeble therapist will connect with you via email with instructions to log in into the virtual SLT therapy room.

· Enter the virtual SLT therapy room
· Start session
· Evaluation feedback from the session will be emailed through to you in the next 24 hours
What technology do I need?
A computer with good internet connection (Download: 3Mbps/sec, Upload: 3Mbps/sec.)
Headphones (dependent on setting and individual needs)
Speakers & Microphone (often already integrated to your computer or headphones)
Webcam (often already integrated to your computer)
If the child is independent and confident with technology, a responsible party within line of sight is acceptable. Sometimes children need support at the start of each session. We do recommend - particularly with younger children - having a responsible adult in the room to encourage or prompt. This is also a great opportunity to engage and learn new techniques with your child which can then inhabit your everyday life.
It is generally expected that a parent will be present throughout the session when this is in the home.
In a school setting it is generally expected that a Teaching Assistant will be present throughout the session.
Do you take Private Health Insurance?
Unfortunately, we do not currently accept private insurance.
What is the cost of Speeble Therapy Video sessions?
Is it safe to have sessions online?
Your online safety, security and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us.
Speeble uses the TheraPlatform system, which is an end-to-end, secure, encrypted video software. This system allows the client to choose a safe, confidential space wherever they feel comfortable to participate in a session. This software is safer and more secure than more commonly used video conferencing programs such as Skype and FaceTime.
Speeble therapists are all DBS checked, HCPC registered and hold Speech & Language Qualifications.
How do I pay?
Individual sessions cost £35 per 30-minute session.
We also offer packages of 3, 5, 10 or 15 sessions.
It's up to you if you decide not to continue with Speeble Therapy sessions. If you bought a bundle of sessions and decide NOT to continue through, you may ask for a refund for any unused sessions that have been purchased within 1 year by emailing email@example.com
If you decide to take up SLT sessions with Speeble , you’ll be able to purchase session bundles of 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 sessions and can pay via our website using PayPal or by card or via the Speeble TheraPlatform just before the session begins.

Liaison and sharing information
Speeble team takes great pride in their work to prepare properly and provide the best quality care via VIDEO sessions.
A minimum of 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations or rebooking is required. Otherwise, we charge "NO SHOW FEE" of £25 to cover our speech therapist time.
Please contact us via email and make sure that we have confirmed your notification, and we’ll be happy to reschedule the date and time slot. If not enough notice is given, we take the right to take the charge of the session.
USE OF VIDEO/PHOTOGRAPHS
Speeble Therapy techniques involve the use of video online technology of the client (child or your loved ones). Please rest assured no material or video will be passed on to third party, the only access to your sessions are via the private link.
All reports will be sent to the parents/carers or yourselves regarding the session and progress. If you require another professional to be involved in yours or your child’s session, please keep us updated.
Speeble professional standards require good liaison and it is good practice for us to provide the best possible services to you or your child.
If you have any concerns, please direct them to email@example.com in the first instance and hopefully we can resolve any issues together. However, if you do not feel this is the case, and you wish to instigate a formal complaint, then you can contact the Independent Practice for further advice.
